New Kit--Sparkle & Shine

Hello all! Sorry I haven't been around creating much lately. But I did recently participate in the October scrap challenge over at Creative Misfits. The theme this month was Bling, and below are my previews. There are 27 papers, 66 elements. Once I got started, I just kept on going! LOL I wanted to add some bling to everything!! You will need to hop over to the Creative Misfits Creations blog to grab this huge kit! While you're there, be sure to grab the other awesome kits, but make sure you leave a big thanks!!

New Template

I have a new template to share with you this morning. I think I made it several weeks ago, and I'd planned on making more to put with it. But, as you can see, that didn't happen. lol So here is the template if you'd like it. Please leave a little ♥ if you download. And, as always, I'd love to see anything you make with it! Click the preview to go to 4shared.

And here is a tag I made with it last night. We had a scrap challenge over at Just Gorjuss using the beautiful kit "Here is Fall" from Lacarolita's Designz, and this was my try. Of course, I used the GORJUSS artwork of Suzanne Woolcott! And as I usually have to do, I had to play with the colors a little. I can't help it--I'm matchy-matchy! lol

Another Twilight Tag

I just loved this tube so much, I had to do another tag! Well, that, and a friend requested I make another. ;) I'm actually working on the tutorial for this one (as well as the other tag with the same tube). I've used my own template (#22) and elements from three different Bel Vidotti kits (Equilibrium, Friendship Collection-Tania Mendes, and Get Fresh). I also used mask 6 from Gina's Gems. Once I post the tutorial I'll let you know!

Twilight Tags

I love Twilight! Who doesn't right?!? lol Hee are a few Twilight tags I've made. I'll try to remember what supplied I used to make them. lol

These two tags were the first ones I made. Both of them use templates (#86, & #87) from Missy at Divine Intentionz. I didn't use any scrap items for either of them.
This tag was made using a picture I took for the background. I made the polaroid frame for the pics of hottie Rob! I found them online, and the © belongs to GQ Magazine. I used dmsk0670 mask, which can be found HERE.

For this tag I used WSL_Mask3 from Weescotslass, which you can find HERE. The photos are from the movie and the © belongs to Summitt Entertainment.

I just finished this tag tonight! I used an awesome tube from Irene Shpak, which you must have a license to use. You can find her work at MyPSPTubes. I Template144 from Designs by Ali and a freebie addon scrapkit from Candy's Treats, called After Dark. I also used WSL_Mask12, which you can find the link for above. I used a few brushes, also. Lyndiebrush611 004 which can be found at My Addiction. You will need to register to see the brushes, but it's free and instant, and so worth it! I also used agiBrush0224_swirls from PspAgi, which you can find at deviantART. I'm really thinking about writing a tut for this one. lol Especially since I already have all the info for it right here. ;) I'll let you know if I do!

Lots of New Tags Made but Not Posting

I have slacked on my original intention for this blog--to "show off" my tag creations, whether they be from tutorials or my own original creation. I have made lots since I posted my last tag--and honestly quite a few before then that I never posted. But I don't think I'll be posting them. It would take a good bit to find the tutorials, templates and/or scrap kits I used so that I could direct you where to find them. I hate that I haven't kept that part up. Honestly, though, I haven't really kept this blog up as well as I intended. I will TRY to do better ;) lol Maybe I will end up posting those tags here and there when I have time to find everything. I will post one, though, that I did from my own tutorial, using a Gorjuss tube and of course by recoloring the supplies I have included in the tut (which is a scrapkit from Scrappy Expressions). You can find the tut HERE. It's always been one of my favorites of my own tuts. ;)

More Templates!

I haven't been able to get online in awhile! I broke my modem last month! I've just now been able to get a replacement, and I'm so excited!!

I've participated in two more template challenges over at Creative Misfits, as well as making some just because. Both of the sets made for Creative Misfits can be downloaded on the Creative Misfits Creations blog, along with TONS of other templates! Be sure to say thanks to everyone you grab from. ;) Here are my previews for both sets.

I've put the other templates I've made into two sets to make downloading (and posting) easier. Hope you like! Please leave a little love if you download! It makes me smile. ;) And I'd LOVE to see anything you make with my templates--that makes me smile, too! lol

Learned to Script!

I finally got brave enough to give scripting names a try! Before now, I've only been able to make the same tag for 10-15 different people, and I wanted to be able to make more. I learned how to use the script HERE. It's a long process and definitely best to try it when you have the time to concentrate on it. :) But I got it in one try! Woot! Woot! And it was so awesome to see it working! I tried out on this tag for the active members at Just Gorjuss. It was made from a cute cute clustered frame from Delicious Scraps. There are tons of gorgeous things there!!

Another Freebie Kit--Simply Sweet

I participated in another challenge over at Creative Misfits! Again, we were given a color palette to work with, but without a theme this time. There are TONS of freebie kits over on the Creative Misfits Creations blog. You'll have to go there to get my download. Be sure to give lots of love when you download from all the great designers--it doesn't take very long to say "thanks" while you wait for the download link to appear! Please be sure to follow each designers TOU.

I'd love to hear any feedback on this kit and see anything you make with it!

There are TONS of awesome templates over at the Creative Misfits Creations blog. Here is the preview for my contribution. Please leave some love when you download!

While you're there, be sure to check out the scrap challenge that took place last month! There are SOOO MANY great kits all for the taking!! Just be sure to leave some love--it's sooo much more appreciate than you could imagine. :) The preview for my contribution is below when I first made it.

Couple of New Tags

I have a couple tags I'd like to show off tonight. ;) This first one was made following a tut called "Shining", which you can find here (warning: image is AC). This tut didn't call for a scrap kit, and the template was supplied.
This next tag was done for a grab bag challenge over at Just Gorjuss. Both tags use my favorite artist, Suzanne Woolcott! Remember you must purchase a license to use her work! And by the way, she's having an awesome sale through Friday!! Better hurry--you can buy one tube pack or print and get the second free!!

New Background

I thought I'd try out a new background. I used my "It's a Spring Thing" kit! I hope you like it!

Spring Bling!

A friend over at Just Gorjuss needed a "jeweled" alpha, so I offered to make one for her. I'm happy to share it with you all HERE. This is a tag I made for her using the alpha, adding some sparkle to it. I used my own Spring Thing kit and my Template03. You can get both below. I did have to recolor the pink flower so it matches the alpha. ;) And of course, I used the "gorjuss" work of Suzanne Woolcott!

I've participated in the scrap making challenge at Creative Misfits. We were given a color palette and a theme (spring), and this is what I came up with. If you download, please leave a thanks! I'd love any feedback to help me improve! Thanks for looking!
There are 14 papers, 700x700, and 32 elements.

**Edited to add link to Creative Misfits Creations blog where this kit can be downloaded from, along with tons more awesome kits!!**

Alison's Tag

Alison (my 9-year old) wanted to help me make a tag the other night. So this is what we came up with. She's proud that she "designed" it. ;) We used Template 7 from Scrapity Scrap and More by Mirella. The kit is "Glitter My Fancy" from Missy at Misfit Scrapz. We used the beautiful artwork of Suzanne Woolcott, which, of course, you must purchase a license to use (link is to the right).

My First Template

Here is my first template.
Please leave a thanks when you do!

Here is the tag I made from this template. It's the one I that "inspired" my Girly Girl kit. I've (once again) used the awesome work of Suzanne Woolcott.

I Made a Scrap Kit!

I've made my second scrap kit! I've been working on it for a few days, maybe a week, and I finally finished it and the preview tonight! I started on it because I had a tag I wanted to do, from a tutorial I'd seen awhile back that used a PTU kit with "girly" elements like high heels and makeup. Since I didn't have the kit (because I love freebies :)) I thought I'd try to make my own elements, and I ended up making a whole kit! I also strayed from the original tut and ended up making a template to go with what I did. I've just finished uploading the kit, but I didn't get a chance to finish the tag. I think I'll do that tomorrow and post it and the template. But for now, here is the preview for my kit--Girly Girl! I'd love to know what you think! Any comments are welcome, as I'd love to know how I can improve!
This kit includes 12 pictures, 600x600 and 32 elements!
Please leave some love while you wait for the file to download!

And by the way, you can find the first kit I made (about a year ago) on my tut site under Resources. Thanks for looking! God Bless!

Another Tag

I made this tag tonight, from a tut by Yvette called Rock Girl. I've used the same mask she did, and I chose elements from a scrap kit from Cupcake Sprinkles called American Dream. Again, I'm using the amazing work of Suzanne Woolcott.

Wonderland Tag

Another tag I made--this time I did the tut challenge over at Just Gorjuss. The tut is from Bel Vidotti and is called Wonderland. It uses the Easter mini kit from Bluedream Designs. It's a really easy tag to make, and I enjoyed it!

More Tags

First off, I want to say that I did find the tag template for the Sweet Nothings tag below. I just knew it had to be one from either Missy or Yvette! And it is from Missy, it's Template 170, and you can find it at Divine Intentionz. Glad I got that figured out! I'd hate to go without proper credit given!

Next, I have a couple more tags I wanna show off. lol I did both of these for challenges at Just Gorjuss! I just love doing challenges over there! Helps get my creativity flowing. ;)

Here is the first:
This one uses another template from Missy over at Divine Intentionz, template138. I've used a kit from Swheat Creations called Gooey. It's got lots of great accents, though I really only used papers in this tag.

This second tag was done using a template 49 from Scraps of Enchantment. I've used a kit named Grungy Vintage, which was a freebie from Sophisticated Scraps. Unfortunately, she isn't scrapping anymore, and I wouldn't know where to direct you to find her stuff. Surprisingly, I didn't do any color changes. LOL

Both tags use the beautiful awesome wonderful artwork of Suzanne Woolcott. You must purchase a license to use her work.

Sweet Nothings

Here is another tag I've made. This time, I used the beautiful work of Zindy S. D. Nielsen. Please visit her site to purchase a license to use her work. I've used an awesome freebie kit called Sweet Nothings by Bluedream Designs. I'm pretty sure I used a template, but I have no idea which one it is! lol I've searched my folders and I'm coming up empty. But it's pretty easy to duplicate. ;)
God Bless, Melissa

Another Gorjuss Tag

This is another tag I did for a challenge over at Just Gorjuss! This time it was for the scrap challenge and the animation challenge--gotta love getting double duty out of a tag. :) The scrap kit is Romantic from Jaelop Designs. Of course, I did recolor as needed to match my tube. ;) I think the pink paper was one of my own, though--just added glitter and then blurred, then repeated a time or two to give some interest to it. You can grab the floating hearts here. Just right-click and save-as to your computer. And, again, I adjusted the color to match everything.
God Bless, Melissa

What An Honor!

I have received the "Friendship" award from my friend Kim over at Scrappin' Daze. Thanks so much, Kim! I am honored and surprised!
I'm supposed to give it out to eight other awesome blogs, but unfortunately, I think everyone I know has already received this award, so I don't know if I'm supposed to give it to them again. But it does feel great to receive this award! Thanks again, Kim!

Here is a tag I made for my bestest friend, Sarah, of her little boy, Jacob. He is two months younger than my Eli, and he's too cute--don't you agree?!? The elements are from a freebie kit from Bea Creations call My Garden. The stripped paper and the blue paper are also from a Bea Creations kit, called Midnight. The green paper and yellow paper are mine. :) I used Missy's Tag Template 76, which you can find at Divine Intentionz.

'So Cute' Tag

I did this for the frame challenge over at Just Gorjuss. I used Frame 20 from Dezigns By Ali. The bow and tag are from Melissa of Sentimental Style. The artwork is of course, from the wonderful Suzanne Woolcott. I used a mask I found on About.com (sc-edge128).

New Tag

Here is a Gorjuss tag I did last week. It was for a template challenge over at Just Gorjuss. I used template 63 from Gina's Gems. The scrapkit I used is a freebie called Loving The Lilacs from Kerry's Kreations. I, of course, adjusted the color to match the girl. The artwork is ©Suzanne Woolcott (who's link is to left in my sidebar).

Welcome to my new blog! I have a personal blog that I use for everyday stuff, but I wanted a place to put my PSP stuff. I have a tut site, too, but I just don't feel like writing tuts that much. lol I still love playing with PSP, though. And of course, I like to show off my stuff. Ha Ha! And who knows, I may use this space to share things, too. But mostly you'll see my tags I've made, and I'll try to let you know what tut/template/scrap kit I've used. That's really all most tuts do nowadays anyway, right?!? Any and all comments are welcome! Until next time, God Bless!
